A couple Mallards. (Anas platyrhynchos) I’m still looking for a good place to shoot birds around Brentwood. I know I saw some sort of an Egret at this spot a few days ago, but I didn’t have my telephoto on me. I’m not happy with this shot, but it’ll have to do.

American Dipper (Cinclus mexicanus) I went back to the provo river to watch these guys. For some reason, one bird is feeding the other here. I also watched them dive into the water to get food off the bottom. It’s very entertaining. I should have used a faster shutter speed to stop the action here.

256M of laptop RAM. I found it interesting that you can put a reversed lens on top of a teleconverter. It helps a little. Here’s the picture of the RAM with out the teleconverter.

I went walking along the trail by the provo river looking for birds. I found several of these little guys.
