My little canon macro element has fungus. The local camera shop wants twice it's value to have it professionally cleaned. At some point I need to open it up and try to clean it myself, but at this point, I have it quarantined so it doesn't infect my other lenses.

I took another photo of the flower from the other day. I didn't have a UV bandpass filter on the lens, but the UV blocking filter on the D70 is so weak, this is mostly a UV reflected photo, with some UVIVF.

The wasps came back, so I shot the new nest with some wasp killer. A few hours later I came back out, and it there's no wasp on the nest and there's lots on the ground.
