I picked up an old vivitar flash a few years back and started convert it to UV. It no longer works, but I'm still holding on to it for some reason.

We had a block party, and they shot off fireworks. Jack was so excited to see them.
I was shooting from a really low angle, so I wasn't looking through the viewfinder, and totally missed the focusing. It's still kinda fun out of focus.

On our drive home, we opened a water bottle that had a straw in it, at the top of Donner summit. Because of the pressure change water sprayed out of it all over the climate control and CD player, which immediately started to malfunction. The heated seats turned on, and everything became non-responsive. Luckily the AC was stuck on, and I stopped and pulled the fuse for the heated seats.

Shooting with a D70 and kit lens again. The lens is slow, and the ISO settings are little more difficult to get to.
