We got Elizabeth and Jack new kindles, and gave them to them before Christmas. And since we had an extra, Maggie took it. She's now reading the first Harry Potter book on it. Maggie also likes wearing old glasses without the lenses, because she wants to be like her older sister who wears glasses.

Becca woke up in the middle of the night because of smell. We thought it was a gas leak, so we had to leave the house. Firefighters came out, detected carbon monoxide and some other gasses, so they brought out hazmat to investigate. Ended up being a malfunctioning battery pack that was over-charging and spewing different chemicals as it overheating.
