We heading into Provo super early to try to see hot air balloons launch, but they canceled it due to wind. On our way back we stopped to see the huge American flag they had flying up in the canyon. This flag is 150 feet long by 78 feet wide.

We went to a 4th of July parade, and right before the start of it there was a low flyover by the 419th Fighter Wing. These are Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II fighter planes. If I would have known about it ahead of time, I would have used my 100-400, but the 105mm didn't too bad.

I ran another half marathon with my cousin today. We stuck with the 2 hour pacer for the first 4 miles, then we sped up until we got to the 1:55 pacer. Then the last mile or so I pushed as hard as I could. My goal was sub 2 hours, and I finished with an official time of 1:54:00.73. I'm very happy with my time.

I have a half marathon tomorrow. I'm hoping for under 2 hours, but would really like to get under 1 hour 55 minutes. I have to wake up at 3:45am to get to the busses in time, so I packed 2 caffeine pills. I'm also bringing 2 ibuprofen, one for before the race, and one for after.
